(12/18/08)  Construction began today in Mobile, Alabama at the 2008 host site for Turtleneck Christmas.  TNC Chief Financial Officer Philip Burton was on-hand to preside over the groundbreaking ceremony and to offer visitors a glimpse of what's to come.  "As we begin this annual ritual marking the official beginning of Turtleneck Christmas, let us remember how far we have come as an organization and let us be mindful of how bright our future may be," Burton explained.  When pressed by a local reporter as to whether or not the organization had outlived its usefulness, Burton quipped "That dog won't piss."  Over thirty TNC supporters and sponsors were present for the event.

(11/14/08) The site of Turtleneck Christmas 2008 will again be in Mobile, Alabama.  Located just off I-65 on Old Shell Road, this year's headquarters will represent a return to past celebrations staged on large parcels of land.  "You just can't ask for better exposure," reported Sidney Claus, a local personality.  "I mean, look at it-- it's a concrete representation of the specific future of our firm.  Coincidence?  I'm afraid not."
